What people ask before starting.

What counts as a "unit"?+
A unit is each space you rent out separately: an apartment, a cabin or a private room. For example, 3 different apartments are 3 units; 4 identical rooms you sell from one shared pool are 4 units. Run a hostel? Each shared dormitory counts as 2 units — an 8-bed dormitory is just 2 units. So a hostel with 3 dormitories and 2 private rooms pays for 8 units ($67 USD/mo).
How does per-unit pricing work?+
It works like tax brackets: the 1st unit costs $14 USD, units 2 to 5 cost $8 USD each, and from the 6th onward $7 USD each. Each unit is charged by the bracket it falls into — crossing into a cheaper bracket doesn't change the price of the units below it. So with 3 units you pay $14 + $8 + $8 = $30 USD per month.
How does the 14-day free trial work?+
You sign up with no credit card and use lulocloud for 14 days. When it ends, you pick your number of units and activate your subscription. If you don't continue, your account is paused but your data isn't lost. If you run a hotel and want Messages and reviews during your trial, subscribe with your card: nothing is charged until the trial ends, and your first charge includes the add-on.
Are there booking commissions?+
No. You pay only your monthly fee and keep 100% of what you earn. Bookings coming from Booking or Airbnb carry those channels' own commissions (not lulocloud's). Bookings from your direct link have no commission.
What is "Messages and reviews" and why is it priced separately?+
It's an optional add-on for hotels: the inbox with your guests' messages and reviews from Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia, so you can read and reply without opening each channel. It costs $14 USD per hotel per month ($140 USD per year). Apartments, cabins and other properties that aren't hotels have it included, and WhatsApp templates come with every unit.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?+
Yes. The yearly plan equals paying 10 months for 12 — that's 2 months free (−17%). You pay the 12 months up front. If you'd rather stay month to month, the monthly plan is the same price per unit, just without the discount.
How do I cancel?+
Whenever you want, from Settings → Subscription — no penalties and no need to explain yourself. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for — the rest of the month on the monthly plan, or the rest of your 12 months on the yearly one — and after that your account is paused without losing your data.
Can I use lulocloud outside Colombia?+
Yes. lulocloud works for any hotel or vacation rental worldwide — pricing is the same in every country. The country-specific legal features (TRA and SIRE) are Colombian for now, and we plan to add other countries' legal requirements too.
