Do I need a special WhatsApp Business line?+
No. lulocloud opens WhatsApp on your phone or computer with the message pre-filled: you use your same number and your same app. You review and send whenever you want — nothing is sent automatically.
How does TRA work exactly?+
You fill in the guest's details once (ID, date of birth, origin, destination) and lulocloud sends the information to MINCIT directly. You get the confirmation code in seconds. If the guest has companions, you add them and they're sent in the same batch.
How is SIRE reported?+
lulocloud generates the ready SIRE file with all the day's foreign guests. You download it from lulocloud and upload it once on the official SIRE page — instead of transcribing guest by guest on their site. Two steps and you're done.
What does the direct booking engine include?+
Your own booking page (a link like book.lulocloud.co/your-place) where guests see live availability, pick dates and send a request. It drops straight into your calendar and automatically updates every channel you've synced —Booking, Airbnb, Expedia and 50+ others— so you never double-book. By default lulocloud doesn't process payments: it brings you the booking and you decide how to charge (a deposit, on arrival, or however you prefer). In Colombia you also have the option to connect your own Bold account and have payment collected automatically through your direct link, so guests pay the moment they book, right at checkout.
How does the Bold payments integration work?+
Available in Colombia. You connect your own Bold account and lulocloud generates payment links prefilled with the reservation details: send them over WhatsApp or email to collect a deposit or the full amount. You can also turn it on in your direct booking engine so guests pay at checkout to confirm the reservation. Bold processes and settles the money straight to your bank account; lulocloud never touches or holds the funds. Anything to do with payments, refunds or disputes is handled directly with Bold — we only provide the bridge to connect your account.
Is my data safe? Do you comply with Habeas Data?+
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we follow the principles of Colombia's data-protection law (Ley 1581 / Habeas Data). Your data is yours — contact us anytime to access, correct or delete it.
Can I migrate from Smoobu, Hospitable or another tool?+
Yes — and you do it yourself from the app, channel by channel. You connect Booking, Airbnb and Expedia to lulocloud one at a time and re-map your rooms in minutes. New reservations then sync automatically, and you can import your upcoming ones with a click. The one rule: stop managing each channel in your old tool once it's live in lulocloud, so you never double-book. Most hosts finish in well under a day, at no cost — no migration team to wait on.
Can I use lulocloud outside Colombia?+
Yes. lulocloud works for any hotel or vacation rental worldwide: channel sync, the calendar, direct bookings, online check-in and reports are all global (multi-currency, multi-timezone). The country-specific legal features — TRA and SIRE — are Colombian for now, and we plan to add other countries' legal requirements too.
